What do we do and how?ChuayDek - ONLUS supports one school at time, to maximize the use of the available funds, energy and of the efforts, and to give the appropriate attention to each kid, teacher and community around them.
We bring in financial help to respond to the school and children most immediate and urgent needs (through donations, fund-raising events or helping them applying for projects) and knowledge (to give them tools to become more independent from external aid). Our hope is for a future in which these children will be able to self-sustain themselves, taking good care of their families and of the environment that surrounds them. We dream of a world where external aid will no longer be needed. Our activities to supports the Buddha Kasetra school lay in three main areas:
