Buddha Kasettra School, Khun Yoam, Mae Hong Sorn, Thailand We felt the emotions of the rice planting season, of the intense green of the rice paddies and of the vegetation in the monsoons. A unique experience, helping the children of the School planting the rice they would eat for one year. Friends of ChuayDek said: "I felt straightaway that, for me, those would have been days of emotion and rich lessons to be learnt. And so it was." and "1 weekend. 100 school kids. 7 volunteers. 9 hectares of paddy. 1 year of food security. memories to last a lifetime". See photostory & read more |

26 November 2010, Bangkok, Thailand An amazing dancing night organized by LUSH, to raise funds for ChuayDek to help the Buddha Kasettra School farming the organic rice the children would eat throughout the year. Fun & fund-raising event: "Trick or treat" celebrating Halloween and raising funds for children in need
31 October 2010, Bo.Lan restaurant, Bangkok, Thailand First fund raising event for ChuayDek group of friends; also thanks to the good will of Bo and Dylan of the Bo.Lan restaurant, it was a great success. More than 100 guests joined and helped raising 84,000 THB (approx 2,000€), which have been entirely donated to the Buddha Kasettra School with the first donation (8-9 November 2010). First visit to the Buddha Kasettra school visit, meeting the kids and the teachers
3 September 2010, Khun Yoam, Mae Hong Sorn, Thailand Chuay Dek co-founders visited the Buddha Kasetra school to decide together with the school director and teachers the contribution to be provided.
